Eco-friendly LED Lighting, Ceiling Fans
and Automated Lighting

The entire home is equipped with eco-friendly LED lighting. This accent lighting can often have a 3-5 second delay before the lights illuminate after you have turned the switch on.

  • The kitchen accent lighting inside and under the cabinets turn on at 4pm and turn off at 11pm. These lights can be turned on or off manually using the wall switch to the right of the kitchen sink.

Our Honeywell smart thermostat follows a preset schedule, but it allows you to easily adjust the temperature to ensure your comfort. We've provided these instructions to ensure you can adjust the temperature for your personal comfort at any time.

First Image:

The current home temperature is shown in the center with the largest numbers, to the right of the current temperature (circled in yellow) is how you adjust to a higher or lower temperature.

The center info will change once you adjust the temperature, be sure "Permanent" is selected before pressing "Done" (circled in red). Guest Parking

The driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles. If you and your guests are coming with more than 2 vehicles extra vehicles can be placed in the grass to the right of the home, just to the right of the evergreen trees.

This is the area marked in yellow on the image. Pull vehicles in the grass just beyond the road, but please refrain from pulling vehicles any further into the yard.

Beach and Water Access

During the summer months (May through Labor Day - late August, early September) our property provides direct access to our private beach utilizing our wooden stairs down the bluff. Then down the aluminum stairs from the top of the lake wall to the beach and waterfront. These are very steep stairs that should NOT be utilized without great care or by guests with mobility challenges.

After Labor Day (late August, early September) due to unexpected and varying weather conditions, the aluminum stairs are removed. Access to the beach and water can be reached utilizing the community access road just down the street (pictured in the image.)

Gas Fireplace and Remote Operation

The fireplace remote control (pictured in the image) is kept to the left of the fireplace, next to the television remote, in a labeled remote control holder. Please return it to this location when not in use. Regardless of whether it is hot or cold outside, the fireplace is ready to operate at any time of the year.

Starting: Point the remote at the fireplace and press "on". The fireplace will light with a small flame. This flame will begin to get brighter and the flame will grow as the unit heats up. Once the unit reaches its preset temperature the blower will automatically activate to circulate the heat.

Stopping: When you are done enjoying the fireplace, simply point the remote at the unit and press "off". The blower will continue to circulate hot air until the unit fully cools down.

WARNING: Do NOT leave the fireplace unoccupied!

Its core purpose is ambiance, mood, and supplemental heat. It is NOT meant as a primary heat source or to replace the use of the central furnace.
